8.2.7 The Commissioner for Integration and Migration
The Commissioner for Integration and Migration of the Berlin City Government offers a comprehensive counselling service taking care of social and legal problems. The Commissioner's Office can assist in personal emergencies; it organises training courses to combat discrimination and violence. Besides, it gives advice in cases of discrimination and supports associations, clubs and community initiatives of foreign fellow-citizens.
