Application process

Useful Information for your application

Current application deadlines

The semester dates at the partner universities vary greatly from the German semester dates. For further information, please check the regional pages. Different application deadlines apply for ERASMUS. Therefore please contact your institute or faculty.

Application procedure

All applications for study abroad stays at our worldwide partner universities must be submitted online.

If your written application is successful, you will in most cases be invited to an interview in which we will ask you in more detail about your motivation to go abroad.

Apart from your application for a study place at one of our partner universities, you still have to think about the funding of your study abroad (living expenses and travel costs).

After your study abroad you will be asked to submit a study abroad experience report.
