Faculty-led trips abroad

The International Office is happy to fund group trips abroad for students; they are meant to provide them with the opportunity of complementing their studies with group activities in an international context in order to provide internationalized training in their academic field. We are especially interested in funding those proposals which extend classroom learning toward exchange possibilities with other international students and help Humboldt students acquire academic and intercultural skills. If students receive academic credit for their group activities and the project is conducted in another language which teaches subject focussed language skills that is most desirable.

The application consists of:

• Project description (no specific form) and itinerary (Maximum length: 12 days)
• Proof of contact with a scientific institution in the country of destination
• List of participants
• List of finances

Deadlines

October 1^st for study trips held between January 1^st and June 30^th

April 1^st for study trips held between July 1^st and December 31^st

The usual amount of support is 3000€ maximum. Note that due to accounting issues this grant may not be used to cover the expenses of the faculty member in charge. Please consult the website of the Studienabteilung for this.
