Renewal of registration (Rückmeldung)

Students staying more than one semester at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin have to renew their enrolment for the following semester. You will receive a payment request for the semester fee by mail. Registration will be renewed only after the timely payment of this fee. You can then print the second semesterticket on the backside of your student card in order to validate the card for the upcoming semester.

You will only receive the automated renewal request if you initially applied for a whole academic year. If you decide during your first semester that you would like to stay longer, you have to apply for an extension. Please come to the International Office, room 2263, during the office hours with the confirmation of your extension and you will receive the payment request in person.

Please state your enrolment number and your full name in the memo line of the bank transfer.

The renewal fee for summer semester 2020 amounts to 265,64 EUR (for students coming within the framework of ERASMUS+, University Contracts, ERASMUS MUNDUS, DAAD etc.) and has to be credited to the account of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin by February 15th. Other scholarship holders have to pay 315,64 EUR. If you are unsure about the amount you have to pay, please contact us BEFORE you pay!

If the amount is credited to the account after the deadline, you will have to pay a late fee of additional 19,94 EUR. In that case you will have to transfer 285,58 EUR (or 335,58 EUR respectively).
