Travelling to a conference or research institution for your doctorate? The International Department awards scholarships for study visits.

You're doing your doctorate at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and planning to take part in a conference or other short research activity abroad (field research, work in libraries, scientific collections, for example) in the next couple of months? Is your planned activity related to your research and are you pursuing a clear goal with your stay abroad? The International Department offers travel grants for short research activities lasting between two and ten days. By participating in international conferences or similar, doctoral students can network internationally and thus advance their research and career opportunities. Funding is provided in the form of a lump sum. The application deadline is 11 October.
