Guest lecture: Steven Chu on climate change

Join us as Nobel Prize-winning physicist and Stanford professor Steven Chu talks about approaches humanity can take to address climate change. The lecture takes place on 21 September, 10am.

The lecture, titled "The Climate Change Challenge and Innovative Approaches - From Batteries to Agriculture - Towards a More Sustainable Future", will take place on 21 September, 10am, at Senatssaal in Humboldt-Universität's main building (Unter den Linden 6, 10117 Berlin).

Steven Chu's current research focuses on physics problems relevant to environmental and climate questions. For example, he is researching methods for hydrogen production and the advancement of batteries. As a former U.S. Secretary of Energy in Barack Obama's cabinet, he also brings an insider's perspective on climate policy challenges and opportunities.
