Internationales Parlamentsstipendium welcomes new cohort
This year's 96 scholarship holders in the Internationales Parlamentsstipendium are hailing from 42 different countries. They were welcomed in early March by Yvonne Magwas, Vice-President of the Bundestag, among others, in the Reichstag building. As part of a varied introductory programme, the scholarship holders then got to know the three major Berlin universities on ‘University Day’ and found out about study and doctoral programmes as well as further internship opportunities. After a keynote speech, a world café setting was used to discuss how states are dealing with the multiple global crises of our time. The International Parliamentary Scholarship is run by the German Bundestag and organised in cooperation with Humboldt-Universität.
