Discussion and screening: Resilience in Times of Democratic Backsliding in Central Europe

We are pleased to invite you to take part in our upcoming event, "Resilience in Times of Democratic Backsliding in Central Europe", organised by participants of the Central European Leadership Program at Humboldt University of Berlin, in cooperation with SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA.

The event aims to explore the rising threats to democracy in Central Europe posed by authoritarian populism, while highlighting the strategies and resilience of minority communities, particularly migrants, LGBTQIA+ people, and racialised groups.

Through an interdisciplinary panel discussion and a film screening, we seek to create a space for dialogue between academia, civil society, and the arts. We would be delighted if you could join us as part of this important exchange.

Should you require additional information regarding the event format, logistics or accessibility, we will gladly provide further details. Thank you for considering this invitation. We look forward to the possibility of your participation and contribution to this meaningful conversation on democracy and resilience.
