French-German conference on European Universities Alliances

Join us in Berlin on June 16–17 for a dedicated meeting on French-German cooperation within Universities Alliances. This conference will bring together representatives from French and German higher education institutions to exchange insights and strengthen European cooperation. This event is co-organized with the French Embassy in Germany and with the support of the French-German University.

This meeting aims to foster dialogue and collaboration between French and German institutions within European Universities Alliances. Over two days, we will:

  • Build networks and lay the groundwork for a French-German EUA roadmap,
  • Present best practices and programms of the French-German academic landscape,
  • Discuss topics of mutual interest shaping the future of European alliances,
  • Identify challenges and solutions to enhance French-German and European cooperations.

This event is primarily aimed at representatives of universities and higher education institutions in France and Germany that are members of EU alliances (board/rectorate members, VP-International/VP-Europe or similar positions, alliance coordinators and managers) as well as the French Embassy in Germany, representatives of national, regional and federal ministries for higher education, funding organizations (eg. DAAD, DFH/UFA, DFG, ANR) and representatives of national rector's conferences (HRK, France Universités).
