At the University, people from various countries and cultures come together. In our intercultural training for students and doctoral students from abroad, you learn to reflect on your own presuppositions and communicate confidently in conflict situations.

Study successfully in an international context? You have the opportunity for this at HU! To make it easier for you to settle into a new cultural environment, the HU GO STUDY programme for students and doctoral students from abroad offers a series of interactive online workshops. Here, you not only learn to consciously perceive and categorise the characteristics of German everyday university life. You can also become familiar with techniques and behaviours that are helpful in intercultural conflict situations, or which make it easier for you to establish contacts in international settings. The aim of the workshop series is to sensitise you to cultural diversity and to give you more competence and certainty in communication with other people.

All the training sessions take place digitally via Zoom and last between two and four hours, including breaks. Simply select the workshops that interest you and register via the link indicated on the event page. We look forward to seeing you!
