Do you wish to study in an international environment and get to know Berlin? Then the Humboldt Winter and Summer University (HUWISU) is right for you: There have been two to four-week summer and winter courses here for international students for more than ten years.

The Humboldt Winter and Summer University – interdisciplinary study or learning German for two to four weeks. Over 600 students from all over the world take the opportunity every year to participate in a German course or one of the numerous English-language specialist courses, to strike up new international friendships and to have unforgettable experiences in Berlin. All the academic courses are distinguished by their practical methods and some of them can be combined with each other – you can find the details on the relevant course page. If you wish to find out more about life in Berlin and the city’s history in addition to the academic courses, our free cultural programme is ideal for meeting other international students and learning more about your home away from home.
