For this reason, formats that allow students and doctoral candidates to interact with other international students from different universities and acquire in-depth specialist and intercultural skills are deemed particularly worthy of funding.

It is an advantage if the credits that students earn as part of the group trip can be transferred, and the activities of the study trip take place in a subject-focussed foreign language.
