Study trips

There are funding options available for group trips and excursions for students and doctoral candidates. The application must be submitted by a member of the teaching staff. Keep reading to find out how this works and what you need to take into account.

Study trips are intended to give students and doctoral candidates the opportunity to meaningfully supplement their studies with group activities in an international context. For this reason, formats that allow students and doctoral candidates to interact with other international students from different universities and acquire in-depth specialist and intercultural skills are deemed particularly worthy of funding.

Transferable credits and foreign languages are an advantage

It is an advantage if the credits that students earn as part of the group trip can be transferred, and the activities of the study trip take place in a subject-focussed foreign language.
