Whether you are still currently occupied with financing your studies, or you are already thinking about entering the world of work, these interactive webinars for international students and doctoral students prepare you for the job culture in Germany!

Different countries means different rules and expectations! The HUGS programme helps you to orient yourself towards topics concerning the world of work in Germany. Here, you can find online workshops on side jobs and internships, success strategies for application procedures and cultural characteristics you might encounter. You will not only learn how to present yourself in the best possible way and how to use your international experience to your advantage. You will also find out which rights you have as an intern and employee and how best to deal with conflicts. The courses are designed to be interactive, so that you not only receive information and advice, but can also practise, and exchange views.       Kevin Helmboldt, our expert for tax returns, gives an overview of the German income tax system and explains for whom a tax return is useful or even mandatory and what you need to be aware of. Afterwards, he'll be available to answer individual questions.
