The Eastern Partnerships DAAD programme offers researchers at Humboldt-Universität the opportunity to establish and expand collaborations with nine selected universities from Albania, Armenia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Ukraine.

Your own expenses to travel abroad can be financed (for HU employees, claim according to Federal Travel Expenses Act (BRKG), for students, staggered allowances) as well as the accommodation expenses of foreign guests in Berlin (per diem). Applications can be made every three years, and the next opportunity will be in the winter semester 2026/27. If you already wish to realise new projects and ones that have not yet been applied for with one of the named partners before this, you have the possibility of financing from remaining funds. For this purpose, register your project in the portal created for this and contact Dr. Stefan Karsch.
