Research collaborations

Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is a hub for international cooperation and maintains a wide range of collaborative relationships. Our individual collaborations extend across numerous international teaching and research projects, which are driven forward through the teamwork of individual scientists. HU's strategic partnerships reflect a university-wide, cross-faculty interest and play a significant role in building the university's international profile.

The strategic partnerships represent cross-faculty interests and significantly shape the international focus of the university. By collaborating with selected leading universities, we reinforce global networks and shared competencies.

Further training

HU employees can receive funding for vocational further training abroad. Possible formats include job shadowing, staff training weeks, workshops, language courses. The most direct option is offered by Erasmus+ Programme Countries (Europe). But further training with Erasmus+ Partner Countries (worldwide) is also possible outside the European Union if certain requirements are met.
