Students with German Abitur

Students with a German Abitur (Bildungsinländer/innen), i.e. international applicants with German higher education entrance qualifications or with qualifications officially recognised as equivalent, are generally dealt with in the same way as German applicants.

Students with a German Abitur submit their application directly to Humboldt-Universität online. However, please note that a different procedure may be necessary. Complete the self-check online to find out which application method applies to you: https://hu.berlin/wo-bewerben. Please note that in the survey, the question "Do you intend to base your application upon a German or upon a foreign higher education degree?" refers to Bachelor degrees and not Master degrees. Whether you obtained a Master degree in Germany or not does not matter for this question.

For information regarding deadlines for applications, see: www.hu-berlin.de/en/studies/admission/calendar.
