3.6 Feedback after submitting an application

After the application documents have been checked by uni-assist, applicants will be notified that they have been forwarded electronically to the university. Those who do not meet the Humboldt entrance requirements will also be notified. In this case uni-assist will keep the documents in order for applicants to make corrections or submit missing documentation up to the application deadline, should they wish to do so.

After your documents have been successfully submitted, you will receive an email from Humboldt-Universität including further information regarding the decision process. You will be able to check the status of your application online. Additionally, a written Letter of Admission (Zulassungsbescheid) or Letter of Rejection (Ablehnungsbescheid) will be sent to you, usually mid/end of July for the Master's Programmes and mid/end of August or mid/end of February for the Bachelor's Programmes.

In case of admission, you will receive an invitation (if necessary) to the DSH language test (3.3.2) along with your Letter of Admission (Zulassungsbescheid). If you are admitted, you must officially accept or decline the offer within the stated deadline.
