4.4.1 Student halls of residence

In Berlin, student halls of residence or dormitories are run mainly by the Studierendenwerk, the student welfare organisation, rather than by the university. Halls of residence (Wohnheime) are located in various parts of the city and vary in standards and prices from € 150 to € 380 per month.

If you have paid the semester fees you can then directly apply with your semester enrolment slip and your ID/ passport to the Wohnheimportal.

You also have the opportunity to apply for the (limited) accommodations of the Humboldt-Universität (► 4.4.2). If available, there is housing in the newly built "Student Village Adlershof" on the campus of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Additionally, there is housing available in the student halls of residence run by the Studierendenwerk ''Allee der Kosmonauten'' and ''Aristotelessteig'' in Berlin-Lichtenberg. Please go to our accommodation website to find out more.

If you are interested, please get in contact with the incoming team of the International Office by e-mail.
