9.1.2 The International Club "Orbis Humboldtianus"

Orbis LogoThe "Orbis Humboldtianus" International Club is part of the International Office and organized by Humboldt students for students from abroad. It is a regular meeting point for all German and international students who enjoy meeting people from other countries and cultures.

Within the Club is an Infothek (Information Point), which offers advice on questions concerning life and studies at Humboldt-Universität during opening hours from Monday to Friday.

During the semester a programme of interesting and various events is on offer, including historical and cultural field trips and visits to theatres, museums and concerts. The programme can be checked out online or picked up in print at the Infothek, where you can sign up for the events.

The club offers help regarding visa issues, supports international students settling into Berlin through mentoring programmes, and connects students all over HU through language partnerships, to name a few. Moreover, the Orbis hosts a regular’s table twice a month in a pub close to the university.
