Application
Applications are usually submitted between December and January (deadline extension until March) for the entire following academic year (i.e., for the winter or summer semester or the entire academic year).

For specific application deadlines, application procedures, allocation of remaining available places, etc., please inquire with the Erasmus coordinators of the faculties and institutes, or visit their websites. Applications should be directed to the Erasmus coordinators of your faculty or institute.
Application Documents
Please inquire about the exact application procedures from the responsible Erasmus-coordinators.
Generally, an Erasmus application should include the following documents:
- Motivation letter (please specify academic reasons for studying at the selected host university)
- Curriculum vitae (e.g., Europass template)
- Transcript of records (AGNES printout)
- If applying for master's positions: Bachelor's degree certificate and proof of current master's semester
- Language certificate, e.g., HU language certificate B2 or equivalent language certificates (e.g., Unicert II, TOEFL, high school diploma in the case of having studied French as a major for stays in France)
- Possibly intercultural qualification certificates
Selection and Nomination Procedure
The selection and nomination procedure takes place in two steps:
- The selection process for the next academic mobility year takes place in the faculties or institutes.
- If you have been selected by the faculty or institute for a study place at an ERASMUS partner university, you will be nominated by the ERASMUS coordinators at the partner institution.
