On 5 March, the new cohort of the International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) programme was officially welcomed to the German Bundestag. A varied programme awaits the scholarship holders over the next five months.

The programme will focus on a three-month internship in a Member of the German Bundestag's office, which will provide the young international university graduates with valuable insights into parliamentary work. The 91 new participants have come to Berlin from 38 different nations. The IPS programme promotes international exchange and democratic education – a unique opportunity to experience political processes at first hand. The programme is run by the German Bundestag and organized in cooperation with Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
