Aware­ness week 2025 – Know your Rights!

The awareness week at HU marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls.

To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls on 25 November, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is organising a campaign week for FLINTA* (women, lesbians, intersex, trans and agender people).

This year’s campaign week will take place from 21 to 30 November and is held under the motto “Know your Rights!” During the week, the newly published protection framework against sexual harassment, discrimination and violence will be presented. In addition, information will be provided on the statute for the protection against sexual harassment, sexualised discrimination, violence and stalking, which has been in force since January 2025. The campaign week includes a broad public awareness campaign, hands-on workshops and information events that offer more detailed insights into both the protection framework and the statute.
