Ful­bright Ger­many: PhD re­search stays in the USA

You are working on your dissertation and would like to further deepen your doctoral research at a US university or another academic institution of your choosing? Fulbright Germany offers you the opportunity to apply for a four- to six-month research fellowship.

The fellowship includes a travel allowance of 1,400 euros, a monthly allowance of 2,400 euros (for a maximum of six months), a possible allowance for accompanying family members, and additional benefits. With a Fulbright research fellowship, you will benefit from professional exchange with experts on site, involvement in interdisciplinary working groups and the opportunity to build networks for your academic career. Early-career researchers with German citizenship can apply by 1 May 2025 for a stay between 1 January and 31 May 2026.
