New sea­son of HU Am­bas­sadors launched

Hundreds of HU students are spending their summer semester abroad. Four of them are sharing their experiences as HU ambassadors at partner universities in London, Taipei, Bologna and Barcelona.

Hannes is studying for a Master's in Mathematics and spending two semesters at Imperial College London. While preparing for his stay, it dawned on him what the UK having left the European Union really means for him. In his first post, he describes how he overcame initial challenges and found ways to save money.

Also writing from outside the EU is Riccardo, a Master’s student in International Relations. He is impressed by the culture of calm and consideration in Taipei and, in his piece, describes a different way of life as he experiences it in Taiwan.

Meanwhile, HU ambassador and Bachelor’s student of Social Sciences Vanessa has stayed within Europe. She reports on her search for housing and how she resolved early difficulties finding her way around in Bologna.

On 19 May, Viktoria will share her first impressions from Barcelona. In the meantime you can find the HU ambassadors over in Instagram.
