Two summer schools in Pisa: Ethical AI and Sensory Neuroscience
Join one of two interdisciplinary summer schools for Masters students, PhDs and early career researchers in this September! Both programmes take place in Pisa and organised in the context of Circle U.
"Sensory Neuroscioence – NEUROBRIDGE" organized by prof. Paola Binda (University of Pisa) and prof. Martin Rolfs (Science of Intelligence; Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), will focus on fundamental concepts of (multi)sensory-motor integration and on the main tools of the trade: neuroimaging, neurophysiology, psychophysics. It is open to Master's level students in neuroscience and related areas as well as junior PhD and senior Bachelor students. It runs from 3 to 9 September and awards 3 ECTS. Applications are open until 30 June.
"Towards Human-Centered, Inclusive, and Equitable Artificial Intelligence" explores how Artificial Intelligence can be designed, developed, and implemented to prioritize human values, foster inclusion, and promote equity across diverse social contexts. Collaborative sessions will encourage interdisciplinary exchange, creative thinking, and critical reflection on the societal role of AI. The school is open to PhD students, early career researchers and professionals working on responsible AI. It takes place from 15 to 19 September and awards 3 ECTS. Applications are open until 26 June.
