Am I suited for a PhD? What are the entry routes and application procedures? How do I find the right supervisor and define my research topic? What about funding options, language barriers, and cultural challenges?

Deciding to pursue a doctorate raises many questions for international graduates. This virtual workshop, offered by the Humboldt Graduate School, addresses these concerns through guided self-reflection, informative inputs, and peer exchange. You will explore key decision-making factors, gain an understanding of roles and responsibilities, learn about different funding models, and discover what is needed for a successful start. Specifically designed for international graduates, the session combines practical guidance with opportunities for questions and networking. If you would like to participate online on 11 September, from 9am to 4pm, please be sure to register.
