Circle U. Climate Day: Fishbowl discussion "The empowered university"
In times of multiple crises and diverse challenges – from climate change and budget cuts to attacks on democracy and evidence-based thinking – universities have the ability to mobilise their own resources and take initiative, rather than merely reacting.
To help shape a sustainable future, they can turn themselves into living labs, combining learning, research, and internal practices to model concepts and innovative approaches. In doing so, they can build partnerships and networks, drawing on the power of openness and mutual support to make full use of their unique role as academic institutions. And above all: they bring together many creative and brilliant minds who are ready to get involved.
Our Fishbowl discussion "Die selbstwirksame Universität: Wie wir Nachhaltigkeitsziele als Chancen ergreifen und unsere Resilienz gemeinsam stärken" will feature insights from experts with diverse perspectives from within the universities.
