At the beginning of your stay in Berlin, you must officially register yourself and your new address at the Local Registration Office. You have rent a room in a student hall of residence or a shared flat, an appartment or are staying with friends or acquaintances. With this address, you register with the Bürgeramt as an official citizen of the city of Berlin. You can do this conveniently at the International Service Centre in the main building of the HU. The Local Registration Office is with us on the following days:

  • Friday, 20 September 2024 (fully booked)
  • Monday, 30 September 2024
  • Tuesday, 15 October 2024

After successfully booking an appointment, we will send you more information on the time of your appointment and the required documents by email.
