Local Registration Office at HU’s main building

At the beginning of your stay in Berlin, you must officially register yourself and your new address at the Local Registration Office. You rent a room in a student hall or a shared flat, an appartment or you stay with friends or acquaintances. With this address, you register with the Bürgeramt as an official citizen of the city of Berlin.

You can do this conveniently at the International Service Centre (room 1068) in the HU main building. The Local Registration Office is with us on four days and you can book your appointment in advance. To do so, you first need to register for our supervision programme for international students.

Next, you can click on your preffered time slot from the list below. If one slot is fully booked, please try the next link. Once you have successfully reserved an appointment, you will receive a confirmation note.

Should you have questions or need to cancel your appointment, please send us an email.
