The application for EU funding by HU ...

  • An annual comprehensive proposal of HU comprising several projects and Partner countries will be prepared by the International Office on the basis of the input of the HU scientists. The submission of the proposal is usually done at the beginning of February each year
  • The faculties, institutes or scientists are asked to send their short project outlines with the following information via email to erasmus.international@hu-berlin.de:
    • With which partner university outside the EU you cooperate permanently?
    • What academic goals as joint courses of study, complementary trainings, summer schools or cooperative projects already exist and what is aspirated with the present application and what has been agreed with the partners already?
    • What quality increase would have this project by promoting mobility support?
    • To what extent (mobilities) EU mobility funding would be required?
    • The gathering of potential projects is carried out throughout the year.

The call for individual mobility grants...

  • DAAD evaluates the HU proposal and decides which of the country projects receive funding, identifying the number of mobilities per type (students, staff) and duration.  The outcome of the February submission is expected at the beginning of June.
  • After the provision of funds by DAAD individual scholarships are advertised by HU via a call for applications,
  • Submit applications online – the online portal is currently under preparation
